Matches are held on the second Sunday of the month except when it conflicts with a holiday, such as Mother's Day during our season. Watch you email box or check back as the 2008 Season has been posted. Matches begin Sunday March 7th with our annual classifier. The first Match is Sunday, April 13th with set up on Saturday, April 12th. But be sure to check back when a proper decision has been made. Tips for Making Life Enjoyable For All Concerned . . .
Please arrive between 8:00am and 8:30am on match day
To have time to pay the match fee, "gear up"
and of course help with final setup, etc.
If you want to eat, bring a lunch.

We run a "Cold" Shooting Range, as per the IDPA rules. This means that all guns are unloaded except for the person/people currently on the firing line shooting. Please arrive with your gun unloaded, or (if you are law enforcement or "carry concealed") immediately go to a Safety Officer when you arrive so you can be taken to the firing line and unloaded.
Setup for matches takes place on the Saturday before. If you are inclined to help, come between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. Depending on how many people come, setup generally lasts until somewhere between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. After setup, the people who helped can shoot the course. As we will be starting a new system this year to replace Darrell, who has retired, or just plain tired . . . We will be seeking all the help that we can get. Be seeing you soon . . .

A Reminder: Club members must pay a $5.00 match fee for each match they shoot, in addition to paying annual dues and other qualifications. To shoot with us, you must be an IDPA Member and have passed our safety class. If you qualify to shoot with us but have not yet joined RPS, your match fee for the first match you shoot with us is $5.00, after which it is $15.00 per match.
