2008 Notes From The President

Dear RPS Members and Friends,

I hope all of you had a great holiday season and have enjoyed the winter off. 2008 looks to be an exciting year for the club. We will continue to have some very exciting stages at our matches. Like last year we would love to get most or all of you involved in creating the various scenarios for the matches. So think about it, team up with other members and we will try to fill the Match Director’s schedule at the March classifier.

We now have club patches. Designed by Peter Matlin and Chuck Hathaway. Very nice design and they are iron on. You will receive two each upon membership renewal. Also Peter and another local artist John Chamberlain are designing a T-Shirt/Sweatshirt image. We will be selling those at the matches.

Don Miller and the Safety officers will be instructing two CCW and two CCW Renewal classes this year as follows:
CCW Class March 15th and 16th $75.00 Non Members • $50.00 with Club Membership
CCW Renewal class April 20th • $50.00 Non Members • $25.00 With Club Membership
CCW Class May 3rd and 4th
CCW Renewal Class June 22nd

Other good news is no membership fee increases $75.00 per member. $100.00 per family.
Guests and New Shooters get their first match for $5.00, and then they join or start to pay $15.00 per match.
If you have friends who would like to attend the Safety Class or join the club please have them call me Don Hooper at 964-7887. Fee for this class will remain at $25.00.
